Hispanic Film Festival

Brand Awareness, Social Media Marketing, Advertising

Overview:

The Hispanic Film Festival was launched to help build a community and advocacy space for elevating voices and experiences of communities of color in connection to nature. Too often these are voices that are left out, misunderstood, deemed not as valuable on the topics of climate and environmental justice, when these issues impact our communities the most severely.

Hispanic Access Foundation partnered with Our Heritage Our Planet to host a film festival. Seeking to celebrate life through the stories of Latino, Black, Indigenous and other people of color with roots in nature - learning, experiencing, and uplifting the nexus between human communities and the lands, waterways, and ocean we call home.

Problem:

The Hispanic Access Foundation's film festival lacks a cohesive and engaging online presence to effectively showcase the event and its mission of celebrating Hispanic heritage and the connection between communities and nature.

Solution:

I pitched a concept that is vibrant and impactful, embodying the rich diversity and cultural significance of the Hispanic Film Festival. Through bold colors and visuals, the brand will reflect Hispanic heritage, environmental stewardship, and cultural narratives.
